Cape Higher Education Consortium
CAPE HIGHER EDUCATION CONSORTIUMThe Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC) is based in Cape Town, South Africa. The Consortium represents the four public universities in the Western Cape – Cape Peninsula University of Technology, University of Cape Town, Stellenbosch University and the University of the Western Cape. Our mission is to promote collaboration amongst our member universities and partnerships between the four universities and key constituencies in the Western Cape, including the provincial government and City of Cape Town.
As an Associate Member of EUSA_ID, CHEC's role will include the dissemination of information about EUSA_ID to universities in South Africa and to support the recruitment of applicants, particularly from Target Group 2.

Dr. Gabriele Bäcker (RUB) and Prof. Julian May (UWC) took part in the Erasmus Mundus Coordinators' Conference in Brussels.
