About

EUSA_ID is a mobility programme offering study, training and research periods in Europe for South African Master and PhD candidates and staff and provides European PhD candidates the opportunity to spend a research period in South Africa.

The EUSA_ID partnership will award 66 grants in total.
The duration of the mobility periods varies from

 1– 3 months for staff mobility
 6–24 months for Master mobility
12–36 months for PhD mobility

depending on the programme of choice and the call!

Mid-term meeting of EUSA_ID as well as the meeting of the selection committee took place at the Ruhr-University Bochum.

31.07.-01.08.2014
Pre departure event took place in Cape Town, at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).

08.05. 2014
The Meeting of the Selection Committee took place in Cape Town/ South Africa.

10.10.–11.10. 2013

The EUSA_ID kick off meeting took place in Bordeaux. All 13 university partners and 3 associated partners were represented.

01.10.–02.10. 2013

Dr. Gabriele Bäcker (RUB) and Prof. Julian May (UWC) took part in the Erasmus Mundus Coordinators' Conference in Brussels.
